Target Audience - By Siham Allali
Our target audience is very much dynamic as i think this would appeal to the urban and indie styles and trend. the genre itself i soul/R&B/rock so it has a wide audience. The age range that i think it would appeal to teenagers and above. i think this because the song has a meaning that an older audience would understand. in using the chase&status remix to the song it has widened the type of person that would listen to it. as it appeals to more than one genre, however i thing it sways more to the rock genre.

Minutes from Meeting
1. It has been decided that we will focus on the soul genre as we are all intersted in it. Bradley suggested it will be interesting to do a remix of a song so that there isn't a video for it so that we can be original. We will have to research the genre so that we understand the genre conventions. We have also decided that we will make a digipak and an advert to go with the video.
2. We talked about doing a song by a female artist because Lorena wants to be in the video. So this will make it easier because we won't have to worry about casting issues and people being unreliable. Bradley also said he is happy to be in the video. They will both have to contribute more to the editing. We decided on Nneka's song Heartbeat and going to use the remixed version.
3. We have decided that the final date to submit the coursework is 20th February which is one month before the official deadline. This is because we want time to write our evaluation. Lorena is going to write a shooting schedule and post it to the blog.
4. Roles as folllows:
Bradley: will be in the video, will annotate lyrics and give ideas, with analyse the original video for the song, will contribute to filming when he isn't in the scene, produce the layout of the ancillary texts.
Lorena: will be in the video, produce the production schedule, will be in charge of the editing of the footage, edit the images for the ancillary texts.
Siham: take photographs of possible locations and design the storyboard, write a synosis for the video, director of the filming, select images for the ancillary texts from the video shoot and coordinate the blog.
Heather: will be in charge of sourcing costumes and helping with the synopsis and booking and charging equipment.
5. Heather is going to book the camera so that Siham can do the animatic storyboard on 12th January.
